Ingredients:
1 12 oz Ketel One Vodka
34 oz Acqua Bianca liqueur
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Prepare Fragata Green Olive for garnish.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with green olive.

History:

A White Spider is another name for a Vodka Stinger (vodka and white crème de menthe) and in 2020 Salvatore Calabrese, at London's Donovan Bar, adapted this vodka-based classic cocktail to use his Acqua Bianca, an alternative white crème de menthe liqueur.

We thought this was delightfully simple and perfectly balanced. So much so that we decided to try it substituting gin for the vodka. We enjoyed that also but perhaps, with gin, the 2:1 ratio doesn't offer the perfect balance of the original.
