Glass:

Serve in a Nick & Nora glass

Ingredients:
23 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
23 oz Yellow Chartreuse (or génépy liqueur)
23 oz Lustau Jarana Fino Sherry
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint leaf or mint sprig.

How to make:

  1. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with mint leaf floated or sprig pegged to rim.

A bit too sweet in my opinion. I wonder if Absinthe would've balanced it more.

Tastes like Fernet branca with sugar syrup.
Didn’t want to throw away so I added lot of ice to balance sweetness.

Having tried your experiment, then the Nome original, both are quite moreish for those who savor herbal spirits and liqueurs. The Chartreuse is more apparent in the Gnome, but in neither does it dominate. At any rate, both are lovely. Adding this to my favorites right now...
