Review:

On the dry side of bittersweet. As the name suggests this is intended to be drunk as the first aperitivo of the week, preferably accompanied by olives.

We think that our good and gentle host has an intuitive affinity for Martini style drinks. And here again he nails the balance. Having enjoyed this cocktail very much, we decided to go uber sumptuous with it, rinsing our Nick and Nora glasses with Kalamata olive brine, using Sirene Aperitivo Americano Bianco and substituting Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal for the Tequila. For us it's a bomb.

Just bought my first bottle of Gentian liqueur and was looking for a cocktail to try it. This one was fairly light cocktail with the Tequila actually being forward and a light "earthiness" of the Gentian mid palate. Really enjoyed it.

Yum. Straightforward three ingredient cocktail that would also work on martes, miércoles, or on most any other día. Just the right balance of booze, sweet, bitter and complejidad. Definitely going in the Favorites.
