The lime was too predominate.

Works on paper, missed the target for me. Too bitter (which is saying something with my palate) and the lime seemed to be fighting with the campari.

Surprisingly good! I did not have any rich syrup so i used 3 cl simple syrup instead. Very well balanced and flavorful. Not quite as good as Love and murder but when you have to ration the USA of green chartreuse this is a good alternative.

No Strucchi in our house -instead used Luxardo Bitter.
I wasn't sure what it would be like with lime juice, but enjoyed this immensely, the lime highlights the Italian Bitter-it's a drink to savour as it has a strong bite . Love it.
However I did knock down the volume to 45ml gin, 22.5 both Bitter and lime juice with a healthy 10ml of rich syrup and into a coupe.

This was quite nice. Like a Bitter Elder, but without the sweetness and floral-ness of the St. Germain (which can be a bit much sometimes).
