Michael Carper's Sazerac Cocktail (Difford's recipe)

Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
10 ml La Fée Parisienne absinthe
70 ml Chilled water
20 ml Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
20 ml Straight rye whiskey (100 proof /50% alc./vol.)
20 ml Bourbon whiskey
3 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
7.5 ml Giffard Sugar Cane Syrup
1 dash The Bitter Truth Lemon Bitters
