How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
| 2 fl oz | Pisco |
| 1/2 fl oz | Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur |
| 1/2 fl oz | Apricot (brandy) liqueur |
| 1/4 fl oz | Lime cordial (sweetened lime juice) |
| 1/4 fl oz | Grenadine/pomegranate syrup (2:1) |
| 1/2 fl oz | Chilled water (omit if using wet ice) |

History:
Drinks historian Dave Wondrich says that this cocktail was created for and named after the wealthy heir of a New York hardware company "who couldn't drink grain spirits and was bored with rum", hence the bartender used pisco, a grape spirit as the base.
