This is a great afternoon or aperitif. Made to the recipe and the colour turned out exactly as pictured. Good herbal hints and an aftertaste of herbal and whiff of floral.
Key with this cocktail is the grenadine. We buy a small batch made in California from organic pomegranate juice and organic cane sugar. Ours is not sweet as many of the pre-made syrups can be.

A bit too sweet with the grenadine. Leaving out the grenadine should also improve the lavender color. Moderately complex and floral / fragrant drink.

The cocktail photographed is made with homemade grenadine, hence the pale colour. It works with 2.5ml Monin grenadine but I prefer with 5ml as per recipe.
