1 inch Cucumber (fresh)
2 fl oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 fl oz Elderflower liqueur
1 fl oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Martini glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of float 3 cucumber slices.

Method

  1. MUDDLE cucumber in base of shaker. (Ideally, cut skin from the cucumber log before chopping).
  2. Add other ingredients.
  3. SHAKE with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

i think it could definitely use for double or triple the cucumber flavor than I got, and half the elderflower, to balance sweetness. gin might be playing a role here, maybe i want something drier than tanquearay?

I cut the elderflower liqueur by half, since I had the feeling that it would overpower the other ingredients and maybe end up too sweet. I like it a lot, refreshing and crispy.
