1 1/2 fl oz Ketel One Vodka
1/2 fl oz Ginger liqueur
1/3 fl oz Monin Ginger Syrup
1 fl oz Cranberry juice (sweetened)
1/2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 drop Bob's Ginger Bitters

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered crystallised ginger.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

The Ginger Cosmo emerged during 2002 in New York City but this recipe is adapted from one we discovered in October 2019 at Soho House Barcelona where it reigned as the best-selling "House Signature" cocktail.

I used only ginger liqueur and a fudged up ginger 'bitters' (combined a dash of ginger syrup with Ango). Pretty good, spiced flavour. Should add a little more ginger syrup the next time I make this. But definitely doesn't need 10ml of it alongside the liqueur.

Don't need the ginger syrup as ginger liquor is sweet enough & only had aromatic bitters and tried with pomegranate juice... perfect!
