Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
2 slice Fresh ginger root (thumbnail-sized slice)
5 fresh Basil leaves
2 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 12 oz Pineapple juice
1 12 oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)
14 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)

Garnish: Basil leaf

How to make:

MUDDLE ginger and basil in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into glass filled with crushed ice. Stir and serve with straws.

History:

Created in 2003 by Massilimiliano Greco at Zander, London, England. 'Cosmos' is a reference to the botanical name for pineapple, Ananas comosus.
