Vodka-laced rich floral elderflower balanced by lemon citrus acidity with basil contributing aromatics.
The signature cocktail of the French Experimental Group since their first bar in Paris opened in 2007. The Experimental recipe uses elderflower cordial rather than elderflower liqueur but I find many elderflower cordials contribute too much citric acidity in addition to the fresh lemon juice.
