Winning cocktail: Paraluman
45ml Patrón Silver
15ml Dry vermouth
15ml Sampaguita cordial (local Jasmin)
10ml Lychee juice
3 dashes Grapefruit bitters
Top up with tonic water

Method: Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass. Stir to allow for correct dilution. Pour into a highball glass. Top with tonic water. Add garnish.

Inspiration: This cocktail was inspired by our national flower sampaguita (local Jasmin) alongside other local ingredients. It's purity and beauty very much resembles a filipina woman. The strength and humility of a filipina especially those who work hard to give their family a better life. They are the real beauty queen (paraluman). The clearness and elegance with the strong flavor of floral and fruits symbolizes a strong independent filipina woman. A woman just like my mom.
