Winning cocktail: The Good Old Thymes
"I decided to represent the simple and laid back yet vibrant spirit of Dalmatia and the town of Split. The Good Old Thymes brings us back to when drinks were simple yet delicious. It enhances the citrus notes of the Beefeater Gin combined with elements of the Adriatic. The olive oil fat wash does not necessarily add flavor but assures that the citrus and aromatic notes of the cocktail stay long on your pallet."
40 ml Beefeater London Dry gin Olive oil fat - washed
20 ml Thyme limoncello (homemade)
20 ml Lemon juice (sweet, sour and bitter)
5ml Italicus
5 ml sugar syrup
Garnish with lemon twist, thyme and olive oil.
Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a coupe glass.
