Finished in a mix of American oak ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, this Jura expression pays homage to local folklore which says that the Jura island water, used to distil the whisky, has life-prolonging and mystical health-giving properties. (Launched mid-October 2011).

Appearance:
Clear, golden amber.
Aroma:
Fruity, spicy, sherried nose with grilled pineapple, nuts, stem ginger and floral rose petal aromas.
Taste:
Sherry, dried tropical fruit and caramelised pineapple palate with zesty grapefruit, cinnamon, ginger and red pepper spice.
Aftertaste:
Cracked black pepper dominates the medium finish with milky chocolate and faint nuttiness.
