Distilled in 1992 and released in April 2010, this 17 year old Dalmore was matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads for 11 years, before finishing its final six years maturation in first fill ex-port pipes.
An oil painting titled ‘Fury of the Stag’ by Benjamin West (1738 - 1820), the largest painting hanging in the first viewing room of the National Gallery of Scotland commemorates the saving of the king by Colin Fitzgerald. The painting was commissioned by Francis Humberston Mackenzie (1745-1815) and it hung in the Mackenzie family seat, Brahan Castle until it was demolished in 1952.
The gift box of this limited release of 3,000 bottles features the painting with the individually numbered bottles adorned with a metal emblem of the brand’s Royal stag.
