Vestal Kaszebe is a small batch (3,015 bottles) vintage vodka single distilled from Vineta potatoes grown in the sandy soil of Kaszebe, Northern Poland which are picked early when small and more flavoursome. The folks at Vestel say the wet weather of 2011 produced a very light and soft spirit.

Αξιολόγηση

Η γευσιγνωσία έγινε στις 23/09/2012

Όψη:

Crystal clear.

Μύτη:

As the liable says, "initial grassiness is followed by aromas of capsicum and green walnuts". I'd add that the walnuts are pickled as there is also a whiff of vinegar and, as with the 2010 vintage, this also has pollen heavy blossom aromas.

Στόμα:

Opens with a slight sweetness before turning dry with hairspray and earthiness. Slightly creamy with tropical fruit esters.

Επίγευση:

Tart, slightly citric finish with lingering liquorice and tropical fruit.
