A Taiwanese malt matured in a used American oak cask previously been used to age port wine and lightly re-toasted prior to filling. No age statement is declared but we understand it to be around three years old. It was bottled by hand at the distillery without added colouring or chill-filtration.

Όψη:

(bottle No. 165 of 212) Clear, bronze amber with burnished bronze highlights.

Μύτη:

Pungent teak wood and teak oil, stewed red berry fruit, subtle whiffs of overripe banana and varnish.

Στόμα:

Burnt toffee, stewed red berry fruit, leathery oak, cinnamon and nutmeg spice.

Επίγευση:

Dry spiced oaky notes come to the fore in the finish.
