Single distilled in 1990 at Domaine de Bertruc in Le Frîche, Landes. Aged 22 years, finished and bottled in 2012 by Francis Darroze. Bottled without chill-filtration or additives such as boise and sugar.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery golden amber.

Aroma:

Mushroom, varnish, dried pineapple and fruitcake with eucalyptus, pine and cinnamon spice.

Taste:

Slightly sweet honeyed caramel and tobacco leaf with powerful spice - nutmeg, cumin, turmeric and cracked black pepper.

Aftertaste:

Long finish with dried fruit and lingering spice.
