Castarède VSOP is a blend of 30% Colombard, 20% Folle Blanche and 50% Ugni Blanc Armagnac, aged for at least 10 years.

Appearance:

Slight haze, coppery amber with burnished copper highlights.

Aroma:

Woody walnut shell, fudge, toasted coconut, cocoa, nutmeg and prune with pine needle and a faint linseed oily note.

Taste:

Dry, woody tannins, black pepper bite over a caramel and leather base with a pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Continuation of fading palate with fading tannins.
