Distilled in 1992 at Longmorn and aged 20 years in hogshead. This single cask was bottled in 2013 yielding 330 bottles (released in October 2013). Coconut and Sandalwood is part of a range of single cask malts from Wemyss (prounced 'weems') with names also inspired by each whisky's flavour.

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Earthy sandalwood and toasted almond. Water brings out toasted coconut, peach, cherry and floral summer meadow.

Taste:

Apple, caramel, buttery sandalwood, cinnamon and nutmeg with new leather.

Aftertaste:

Cooked apple, new leather and white pepper. Fruity and easy.
