Review and Tasting

Sampled on 25/10/2017

Appearance:

(Sample bottle best before 23/Aug/18) Clear, deep golden amber with moderately thick, retentive off-white head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Caramel malt with cut grass and light grapefruit hops.

Taste:

Medium-bodied and moderately bitter with average carbonation. Caramel and honey balances resinous hops.

Aftertaste:

Lingering resinous pine and citrusy hops.

Overall:

Slightly more hop bitterness than your average English session pale ale but supported by slightly sweet caramel maltiness.
