STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass (preferably over a chunk of block ice).
| 1 fl oz | Gentian liqueur (e.g. Suze, Salers etc) |
| 1 fl oz | Del Maguey Vida Clásico mezcal |
| 1 fl oz | Strucchi Dry Vermouth |

Three equal-part ingredients, the holy grail of cocktail recipes, makes for a dry spirituous apéritif cocktail. This cocktail is very similar to a Maximiliano.
Incidentally, Jersey's Best Dancers is the third studio album by the New Jersey band Lifetime (released June 1997).

Adapted from a 2017 recipe by Charlie Martin at Eclipse Restaurant, Saint Louis, USA, who says, "I wanted a version of the Negroni that used mezcal as the base spirit and Suze as the bittering agent. Whipped this drink up and now it's on our menu! Rarely you nail it on the first try but this one is perfect!"
Charlie's original recipe calls for equal parts: Suze, Vida Mezcal and Carpano Dry vermouth.
