Review

Situated bang opposite Aviary, La Sirena Clandestina couldn't be more different. La Sirena Clandestina is delightfully unpretentious and relaxed. The décor is rustic and utilitarian with raw wood and steel framed tables on a well-worn dark stained floor and under a tin ceiling. A high level slit cut into the wall gives a glimpse into the kitchen and while you can't see what they are preparing you can see the faces of those preparing your food.

As the name (meaning Hidden Mermaid) might suggest, this is a South American - Brazilian and Chilean restaurant, but while the food is good (try the Moqueca seafood stew), it is the more tequila-leaning bar and its cocktails that attracts us.
