Review

The Fifth Floor Bar lies atop the preferred department store of Sloane rangers and Chelsea girls but has its own express lifts from Sloane and Seville Streets. You'll find the space light and airy, almost summery - the iconic anemones of Perrier-Jouët's Belle Epoque labels have been integrated into the interior design, woven into the carpet. White leather booths run around the room, with an island bar in the middle as a focal point.

It's certainly a buzzy space, full of not just weary shoppers but drinkers who have headed there without shopping downstairs. As this is a Perrier-Jouët-sponsored bar champagne features prominently on the list, with a huge range of PJ expressions, vintages and non-vintages, rosés and a range of innovative champagne cocktails and bellinis.

While many of the spirits on the back-bar are familiar faces, the choice is surprisingly wide, though does include a glut of flavoured vodkas. Cocktails take a botanical (flowery) bent, in line with the interior design, but there are also plenty of seasonal variants including winter warmers during the colder months.
