A single cask (No. G5.7) bottling by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society of grain whisky from Invergordon Distillery, the most northerly of Scotland's grain distilleries. Distilled 20th May 1993 and aged 19 years in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead the cask yielded 234 bottles released in November 2012.

Appearance:

Clear mid golden amber.

Aroma:

Pungent fruity nose - peach, apricot and eucalyptus with tangerine zest, popcorn, linseed oil, fennel seeds and vanilla. Water releases overripe banana, orange oil and more pronounced popcorn.

Taste:

Sweet and spicy fruity vanilla with slightly waxy mouth feel. corn oil and cornbread. Caraway and orange oil emerge with water.

Aftertaste:

Long gently spicy finish with cream of soda vanilla and popcorn.
