This blonde continental style pale ale is brewed with a combination of pale Maris Otter malts and German hops including Hersbrucker. Ein Stein beer is of course named after the great man himself, as the brewery say “it's not rocket science... but it is thinking drinking.”

Sampled on 03/12/2012

Appearance:

(sample best before Dec-12) Clear, mid amber with quickly diminishing one finger off-white head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Caramel, hay bale and light grassiness with faint banana chews.

Taste:

Caramel and earthy piney hops with underlying toasty malt.

Aftertaste:

Cleansing mild pine needle bitterness.
