Distilled in 1997 at Clynelish and aged 16 years. This single cask was bottled in 2013 yielding 302 bottles (released in July 2013). ‘Spiced Chocolate Cup’ is part of a range of single cask malts from Wemyss (prounced 'weems') with names inspired by each whisky's flavour.

Clear, pale straw golden.
Green apple skin and cinnamon spice with linseed oil. Water opens to reveal more fresh apple and verdant grass. Faint soapy tangerine.
Intensely spiced apple – chilli and cinnamon, with earthy dry, almost bark-like oak.
More spicy apple and oak with the promised chocolate emerging at the very end.
