Released April 2014, this 17 year old Arran is made from un-peated malted barley and matured in ex-sherry casks. It is bottled without caramel colouring or chill-filtration and only 9,000 bottles of this limited edition are available.
Review and Tasting

Appearance:
Clear, pale to mid golden amber.
Aroma:
Stewed apple, vanilla fudge and new leather with cinnamon and white pepper spice. Water exposes subtle orange zest and dark chocolate.
Taste:
Slightly sweet with apple pie filling, cigar tobacco, new leather and black pepper spice. Takes a splash of water well, amplifying lemon zesty cream fudge.
Aftertaste:
Warming black pepper and cinnamon spice with apple pie - both filling and pasty.
