Review and Tasting

Sampled on 09/04/2014

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Jaffa Cakes filling, dried apricot, honey and white grapes with nectarine zest, cinnamon and chamomile.

Taste:

Dry, lightly bitter (gentian and quinine) with white wine acidity. Coriander, bitter orange marmalade, lemon zest and chamomile.

Aftertaste:

White wine acidity fading with gentian, wormwood bitterness and warming spice.

Overall:

Bone dry and lightly bitter (the driest dry vermouth we've sampled) with apricot fruit and floral notes.
