To quote from the back label, “The Lucan were a tribe of farmers during the first half of the 10th Century. Their territory became the renowned centre of hop growing and the golden beverage production in north western Bohemia.

The area has produced Lucan beer since 1801 using Moravian malt, world renowned Zatec hops and the purest water.”

Appearance:

Slightly orange and murky.

Taste:

Dilute and fairly flat, lacks body but has a strong and usually appealing hoppy flavour.
