Review and Tasting

Sampled on 13/07/2023

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Wormwood, clove, vanilla, orange and mace with floral and herbal complexity.

Taste:

Bittersweet. Zesty orange, vanilla, cinnamon and black pepper spice with bitter gentian and quinine.

Aftertaste:

Bitter gentian and quinine with vanilla, cinnamon and delicate white pepper spice.

Overall:

Bittersweet with quinine, gentian and wormwood all contributing bitterness. Much bigger and spicier than your average "dry" vermouth with zesty orange, vanilla and enlivening cinnamon and white pepper.
