Despite the name, Green Russian is amber-coloured vodka is made near St Albans, England. It is made with molasses spirit infused with green tea from China.

Appearance:

Clear, bright amber.

Aroma:

White pepper spirituous spice, green tea with very faint chocolate.

Taste:

Black pepper spirituous spice and green tea with assertive tannins.

Aftertaste:

Dry, black pepper spice, and green tea.

Overall:

Green tea appears to have imparted as much of its tannins as flavour - perhaps due to an overly long steep.
