Review and Tasting

Sampled on 04/11/2012

Appearance:

Clear, deep maroon red.

Aroma:

Aromatic earthy raspberry with faint lavender and chocolate.

Taste:

Sweet but with balanced by fruit tartness. Rich raspberry with raspberry jam cooked note.

Aftertaste:

Long jammy raspberry finish with black pepper alcohol tingle. Lacks the richness and explosion of flavour found in a crème but many will prefer the relatively low sugar content of this liqueur when compared to a crème.
