How to make:
MUDDLE redcurrants in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

1 2/3 fl oz | Caribbean blended rum aged 6-10 years |
1/2 fl oz | Hayman's Sloe Gin |
1/2 fl oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
1/2 fl oz | Vanilla sugar syrup |

History:
Created by Jason Scott in 2002 at Oloroso in Edinburgh, Scotland.
This cocktail, which is red and contains rum, is named after Red Rum, the only horse in history to win England's Grand National three times (on his other two attempts, he came second). He became a British hero, appeared on the BBC Sports Personality of the Year show and paraded right up to his death at age 30 in 1995.
