How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
2 fl oz | Hayman's London Dry Gin |
1 fl oz | Luxardo Apricot Albicocca Liqueur |
1/2 fl oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
1/4 fl oz | Chilled water (omit if wet ice) |
3 dash | Angostura Aromatic Bitters |
3 drop | Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) (optional) |

A gin apricot sour balanced and favoured with generous dashes of aromatic bitters.
History:
Named for Barnum Was Right, a 1929 American comedy film released with sounds and also as a silent version for theatres not wired for sound. Only the silent version serves.

⅓ jiger Apricot Brandy
Dash Lime Juice or Lemon
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Shake well with cracked ice and strain into cocktail glass.

- 24.25% alc./vol. (48.5° proof)
- 27.5 grams of pure alcohol
