SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into glass filled with crushed ice.

3/4 fl oz Freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
1 1/2 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
2 1/4 fl oz Brandy, whisk(e)y, gin, rum etc.
3 fl oz Fruit juice or water
3 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
