2 fl oz Cognac
½ fl oz Berentzen Apfel Korn (apple schnapps) liqueur
½ fl oz Noilly Prat Extra Dry Vermouth
¼ fl oz Sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water)

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish:

Lemon zest twist

Comment:

Cognac with apple notes and a touch of herbal complexity by way of dry vermouth.

A created in 2008 by yours truly (Simon Difford) at the Cabinet Room, London, England, originally to celebrate the Future 500 initiative. As every schoolboy knows, quingenti is Latin for five-hundred.
