History:

There are numerous riffs on the Negroni called Jabroni, and the origins of this recipe are unknown. However, as "jabroni" is famously one of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's favourite insults, it's likely to have been created for his tequila brand, Teremana.

Nutrition:

One serving of Jabroni contains 196 calories

Alcohol content:

  • 1.4 standard drinks
  • 21.85% alc./vol. (21.85° proof)
  • 19.7 grams of pure alcohol

Difford’s Guide remains free-to-use thanks to the support of the brands in green above. Values stated for alcohol and calorie content, and number of drinks an ingredient makes should be considered approximate.

Never thought just .75cl of Banana could compete with the Campari in this Tequila Negroni but it's certainly not lost. It's there, especially on the nose, making it into a much more interesting Negroni riff. The tequila is a bit lost, so maybe it would honestly work better with a gin? Nonetheless it's a pleasant cocktail.

It’s ok, but there is no way Campari is the optimum Amari for this. TBD…

Too many strong flavours, ultimately no one's a winner.
