How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
1 2/3 fl oz | Poire William eau-de-vie |
3/4 fl oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
1/2 fl oz | Orange juice (freshly squeezed) |
1/2 fl oz | Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix) |
3 drop | Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) |

History:
Adapted from a recipe created in 1995 by Marco Dionysos at Saucebox in Portland, Oregon for his ex-wife, Sarah. According to Jim Meehan's PDT Cocktail Book, "He named it the Perfect Pear in honor of their marriage and the King Crimson song 'Three of a Perfect Pair'."
