How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

1 12 fl oz Rutte Dry Gin
34 fl oz Martini Rosso vermouth
1 14 fl oz Freshly squeezed orange juice
16 fl oz Velvet Falernum
2 dash Angostura Orange Bitters

Comment:

This variation on the classic Satan's Whiskers calls for it not to be 'curled' (as is the case when you use orange curaçao), but to be 'marcelled', apparently a deep soft wave in one's hair (for those that still have some) created with curling tongs and popular in the 1920s and 1930s.
