Lemon zest twist
We do like a pun and appropriately the original recipe for this cocktail specifies Suze gentian liqueur. The flavour of gentian combines brilliantly with tequila while dry vermouth adds herbal complexity.
Created Rufus Grantham at Demon, Wise & Partners, London, England. Rufus’ original recipe called for 2 Ocho blanco tequila, ½ Dolin dry vermouth, ½ Suze and 4 drops Bittermens hopped grapefruit bitters. The agave syrup was our own addition.
