About:

Adapted from a recipe discovered in 2015 at Pouring Ribbons, New York City, USA.

This cocktail is named after Harry “Two Guns” Miller, who in the 1920s set up a zoo and the Apache Death Cave tourist attraction in the Arizona town of Canyon Lodge on Route 66. He renamed the town Two Guns and took on the Chief Crazy Thunder persona. However, all did not go to plan. Miller fell out with the couple who owned the land he was renting and on 3rd March 1926 shot the husband during a heated dispute. He was acquitted at the trial but shortly after was mauled by a mountain lion, not once but twice - on two separate occasions. Finally in 1929 fire gutted the attraction.
