We really enjoyed the flavors, but it was a bit too sweet for us. Our solution? Increase the rum! We'd go 1.5oz to 2oz of the rum.

This could be my new favorite cocktail! I love Strega, so of course I was going to give this a shot. With 8 year Bacardi Gold, and my homemade Orgeat, this cocktail is simply fabulous! I think some nice tiki bitters might be a great addition. I'll have to play around with this!

Good suggestion. Just added several drops Difford's Daiquiri Bitters from Bobs Bitters, love that stuff. Definitly added some dimension.
