How to make:
SHAKE first 5 ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass, adding soda as you pour.
| 1 1/2 fl oz | Drambuie liqueur |
| 1 1/2 fl oz | Pineapple juice (freshly extracted/pressed/squeezed) |
| 3/4 fl oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 1/6 fl oz | Fernet liqueur |
| 3 dash | Angostura Aromatic Bitters |
| 1 fl oz | Thomas Henry Soda Water |
Review:
Pineapple juice with herbal attitude. Fernet contributes almost clove-like flavours to this fruity aperitivo cocktail.
History:
Purloined from Jeffrey Morgenthaler's 2014 The Bar Book in which he says, "I've always loved working with herbal liqueurs such as Drambuie, and Fernet-Branca makes a solid chunk of their sales from the staff at our restaurant. And behold, the Kingston Club was born."
