How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
|1 2/3 fl oz||Bourbon whiskey|
|5/6 fl oz||Martini Rosso sweet vermouth|
|5/12 fl oz||Giffard Abricot du Roussillon liqueur|
|5/12 fl oz||Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/6 fl oz||Giffard Grenadine syrup|
|2 dash||Orange Bitters by Angostura|
Vibrant in both colour and flavour with rich apricot and grenadine balanced by lemon freshness and charged with spirituous bourbon. Apricot, bourbon and lemon are a harmonious trio enriched with grenadine.
Adapted from a recipe created in 2021 by Susanna McMahon, a keen amateur mixologist and 74-year-old grandmother who says, "This drink was created for those who think they do not like bourbon. The apricot brandy works magic on the bourbon, creating a most appealing drink. This is in honor of my in-law's fiftieth wedding anniversary."
