
a swath of orange peel
In a mixing glass, combine:
- 2 oz Cognac (such as Pierre Ferrand 1840)
- 3/4 oz Mandarine Napoleon
- 1/4 oz Benedictine D.O.M.
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Stir until ingredients are well chilled then strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Express orange oil over the drink, garnish with the peel, and serve.

1/4 fl oz | Bénédictine D.O.M. |
2 dash | Angostura or other aromatic bitters |
