Interested in learning how to look after yours and your colleagues' mental health and wellbeing? The Minds Matter workshop explores self-care and techniques bartenders can apply to their busy lifestyles, from awareness and sleeping strategies to exercising and support recovery.

The Benevolent, the UK drinks industry charity, invites bartenders to participate in a free mental health workshop on 7th November 2019 at Tanner & Co on Bermondsey Street in London. You can register for your free ticket here.

An educational course on mental health awareness, Minds Matter is designed to help bartenders learn everyday techniques to boost their wellbeing, support their lifestyles and to help build resilience.

The agenda

Hosted by Kat Hounsell and Ann-Marie Davie from Everyday People, the workshop will run between 10.30am until 5pm.

Part one: The introduction session explores mental health awareness.

Lunch: Bartenders will have the opportunity to network, participate in interactive activities and enjoy a lunch spread courtesy of The Benevolent.

Part two: The second session focuses on maintaining mental wellbeing and support recovery.

Part three: ProNappers Ltd host a session on sleep and exercise.

Part four: A closing session wrapping up the workshop while also showcasing low ABV and non-alcoholic cocktails for guests to enjoy.
