Review

Westbourne House opened in late 2007 and is owned by the House Bars group (who have several other west London out posts). Despite being situated right in the middle of Westbourne Grove, if you're on the Portobello Road bar circuit, this can feel a bit out of the way.

However, once you've ventured into W2 this is well worth popping into. It's a pretty glamorous venue with light grey walls, chandeliers, Louis-style furniture and accurately named poseur tables. Upstairs is a private area for small parties and there's also a well stocked bar, a roaring fire in the winter and plenty of pavement space for those that wish to sit out and make sure they're seen. The cocktail list is pretty huge with drinks split into spirit categories, with a little bit of history on each recipe.
