Betty is housed in cavernous warehouse-like space with chunky wooden columns and beams supporting a double height ceiling over a checkerboard tiled floor. Strangely, despite the voluminous space, this cocktail lounge has a stately, even homely feel with dark warm wooden back bar and panelled walls. Well placed tea lights and edition filament light bulbs cast a warm yellow glow. Betty is big but cute.

Tasty, small tapas-like plates are perfect to pair with the excellent cocktails served here. The regularly changing 'featured G&T' (expect a craft gin with added bitters) is something of a speciality but beyond this you'll find some very creative and well-made signature drinks such as the following:
• Alfonso cocktail (sparkling wine, herbal liqueur, sugar cube and bitters)
• Maximillion (tequila, ancho chili liqueur, hibiscus syrup, lime, mole bitters and sparkling wine)
• Coffee & Cigarettes (rye, sweet vermouth, madagascar vanilla and orange flower water)
• A Cobbler (amontillado sherry, apple brandy and pineapple syrup)
• Life During War Time (genever, green tea syrup, Aperol, fennel bitters and bitter lemon soda)
• The Ice Breaker (Guatemalan rum, alpine liqueur and creme de menthe)
