Casita vies with Rake in Borough Market as being London's smallest bar and considering the latter boasts a terrace and a beer cellar, I'd bet Casita takes the title hands down. The space this bar occupies is little bigger than a single garage where you'd park your car and then you'd have to be careful how you opened and squeezed out of the doors.

Stripped pine and two overhead skylights add volume to the small space while the exposed brickwork suits the Latin American theme with the Mexican flag much in evidence. What this cocktail bar lacks in size it makes up for with atmosphere and is very much a drinks industry and bartender's haunt, indeed the Jagermeister machine takes pride of place and must be one of the most heavily used in London.

Again, the Latin American theme is evident with Sagres on tap and on the pegboard cocktail list. The single selection of one red, white and rose wine on offer are all Portuguese but Casita is not about wine, it is about a great atmosphere, well made cocktails and catching up on bar industry gossip.
